Gerald Ford White House Scarce Set of Congratulatory Cards
Official White House cards produced by the Gerald Ford administration Four different cards. One each that were sent to people celebrating their 100th, 95th and 85th birthdays and one for wedding anniversaries. These are fold-over four panel cards which are unusual congratulatory cards since they are typically one single cards in format. These cards were pre-printed and sent to citizens whose faily had requested the congratulatory card from the White House be sent to celebrate the occasion. The card includes the gold embossed presidential seal at the top along with the printed signature of President Ford at the bottom. This is part of a large group of these cards we recently acquired from an individual whose relative worked for the government in Washington, D.C. at the time. All the cards have the gold embossed presidential seal at the top and are in mint condition.
