Early 1800's French hand colored lithograph William Tell
There doesn't seem to be brown spotting, foxing on the lithograph itself but on the back it is all brown and spotty. The wording at the bottom is in french. The overall measurement of the picture which has ragged edges is 10 by 13 3/4 inches. The front of the lithograph has a tiny 1/8 inch hole, Picture 4 shows this. There are also about 3 areas on the front of the lithograph that have paint chipped off. Pictures after 4 show these paint loss areas. It seems these areas are where the artist got extra thick paint. The image itself measures 11 by 7 1/2 inches. The images colors are very deep and brilliant. It is not framed.
