This is THE DEATH OF WILLIAM HOWARD TAFT and the choice of CHARLES EVANS HUGHES AS CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT featured inside of a complete 1930 issue of LITERARY DIGEST Magazine!!! This issue includes the article "FATES STRANGE WAY WITH TWO GREAT CHIEF JUSTICES". Nice three–page article! Nice Photos! There is also a photo of CHARLES EVANS HUGHES, JR who had to quit as Solicitor-General when his dad was chosen as Chief Justice. This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in fine condition with some vintage corner and edge wear. It does have significant foxing on the margin edges of the front cover and some wear on the back cover.
