Vintage Framed President George Washington Lithograph Print
This is an antique 19th-century chromolithograph reproduction, similar to those produced by E.C. Middleton or Strabridge & Co. Features Washington in a bust-length pose wearing a black coat and white cravat. The original painting was done by Gilbert Stuart (circa 1796), often referred to as the "Athenaeum" portrait type. Doesn’t have any printing company name on the bottom or signatures anywhere on the print, so I’m not sure on who made this particular print. It is in a frame that it was originally framed in and did come out of a really old farmhouse in Amherst, Va. frame is in fair shape (as pictured). If you are seriously interested in this piece and don’t want the frame, message me and I can give you shipping information without frame.
