Vintage Abraham Lincoln And Douglas Debate Banner. I wish I knew more about this piece. It is a little harder to date but my guess is early 1900s and possibly late 1800s. The Lincoln Douglas debates that put Abraham Lincoln on the national stage. He lost the Senate run but won the presidency. Chicago tribune was a huge supporter of Lincoln and helped him get his message out. See photos for details and condition. There are stains but no tears or holes. Own this extremely rare piece today. Measurements are roughly 48” x 34”.
