TRUMAN'S Inaugural Ball + FDR's 1941 Inauguration- Points of Historic Interest
FDR's third inauguration (Jan 1941) "Points Of Historic Interest" handout PLUS TRUMAN'S Inaugural Ball (Jan 1949) = = = = These belonged to my father. He was a young Army officer (West Point '45) at the time of Truman's inauguration, and my understanding is that young officers stationed in the DC area were put to work as aides, escorts, etc. That would explain how he came to have a copy of the Truman piece; I don't know how he came to own a collectable from FDR's 1941 inauguration.
