The Real Abraham Lincoln, a complete one-volume history of his life and times by Reinhard H. Luthin, 1st Edition 1960, was the second to the last book Luthin ever published before his death. He was a bibliographer for Columbia University after the School received a generous grant to expand its US History collection. His last book was also on Lincoln and he is considered one of the authoritarians on Abraham Lincoln by scholars. In typical Prentice Hall "class book" style, Luthin's biography is written with footnoted details that many Lincoln collectors and history enthusiasts will find refreshing. A sample two-page spread as an example of that Style can be found in the images I've included with the book The book itself is in incredible condition, considering its 62 years old, receiving a VG+ rating, which would have been Fine had it not for minor damage to the cover jacket and due to its condition has been priced accordingly.
