FANTASTIC & VERY RARE 10 3/4" long by 5" tall by 3/4" deep HEAVY wooden key shaped trivet featuring a B&W colored tile inset picturing Abraham Lincoln's house in Springfield, Illinois and reading: "The Lincoln Home. Presented by the people of Springfield, Ill. to _______ Nelson Howarth, Mayor" on front-These were not sold, they were ONLY given out to VIP's, Big-wigs, & Dignitaries visiting Lincoln's home town by the mayor himself-How cool is that? Howarth served 3 terms as mayor from 1955 to 1971-he died in 1991)-The fancy trivet is unmarked on the bottom-Neat vintage item in great condition and ready for display.This is an ORIGINAL item, NOT A REPRODUCTION item!Postage information is listed at the bottom-Calculated postage required, which is exactly what the post office charges to send it.
