This was THE ONE AND ONLY PRESIDENTIAL SEAL wood block printer's type set used throughout the EISENHOWER Administration and into the beginning of the KENNEDY administration. There are 48 stars around the Seal which is why the Kennedy administration had to have a new one ordered that had 50 stars around the Seal as the art of printing was also moving away from the need for such printer's blocks.
