Drawing on 18th Century Netsuke design combined with the best of art pottery and the English toby jug tradition, they became an immediate success and introduced a whole new genre of pottery commemoratives. Designed by top ceramic sculptors, each Face Pot is handmade and hand-painted in Stoke-on-Trent, England and made to the same high standard as traditional Kevin Francis releases. Each Pot contain a quote from (or associated with)the character portrayed. A studio pottery approach resulted in limited production numbers of each Pot.
