This UNIQUE cover has been inscribed by Curtis with information pertaining to the day of the assassination as well as the date of the assassination. VERY RARE AND UNIQUE! Curtis was one of the Parkland Memorial Hospital physicians who fought to save the life of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 inside Trauma Room One. Trauma Room One is the room where President Kennedy passed away, after his assassination in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. During the resuscitation efforts Dr. Curtis performed a cutdown on President Kennedy's leg and inserted an IV, in an attempt to save his life.
