Rare Antique Original Hand colored, Stone lithograph of George Washington
This is an original lithograph a work of art created by hand, printed by hand, and colored by hand from a litho stone, that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image, No signature,Not a copy or a reproduction. This litho was in an oval frame at one time, you can see the faint marking of the frame. There is one corner broken off litho, see photos, but is in very good condition otherwise. Great color on face. Very unique and rare lithograph. I have researched and found similar ones that are very expensive or in museums. Circa 1860-1890 The paper and pigments fit the time period. Original hand color. Measures 8" X 5 3/4". Ready for re-framing. I ship exactly what is shown in the photos, so buy with confidence.
