President William McKinley Heart Shape Page Marker
I have for sale a souvenir page marker that commemorates President William McKinley, our 25th president. The heart shape marker is aluminum, approximately 2 1/4 by 2 inches and in a high grade circulated condition. In the center it shows the bust of McKinley with his name below. Above the bust it reads IT IS GOD'S WAY. HIS WILL NOT OURS BE DONE. President McKinley was shot on September 6, 1901, at the Pan American exposition that was held in Buffalo, New York. He died of his wounds on September 14, 1901, and it was reported that his last words were "It is god's way. His will, not ours, be done."
