PRESIDENTIAL COLLECTIBLES on eBay Since 1998 Original White House phone Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower administrations This is an authentic White House telephone used during the administrations of Franklin D Roosevelt, Harry s. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower The telephone is from the mid-1930s. It is made by Bell Western. The center dial has the White House insert used on White House phones The phone is in overall very good condition. It does however show signs of mild aging and wear and tear. I do not know if this phone is functional. I have not tested it. The dial rotates and functions perfectly. This phone is from my personal collection. I acquired it and several other that I will be listing in the late 1980s directly from the family of a former White House staffer who worked during the Truman and Eisenhower administrations. The phone was acquired by the staff member during the telephone system upgrade which took place during the Eisenhower administration. A very rare and almost impossible item to acquire. Shipping will be $85 which includes priority Mail, insurance, a signature will be required upon delivery.
