This is a tie clip given to associates and dignitaries by the 41st Vice President of the United States, Nelson Rockefeller, in its original box. It has Mr. Rockefeller's facsimile cursive signature across the tie clip, and an enamel and gold tone seal of office. Mr. Rockefeller was a four-term Governor of New York (1959-1973) and served as Vice President from 1974-1977 in the President Gerald Ford administration. There is writing on the underside of the box, and the clip is in excellent condition.
