John F. Kennedy (JFK) Bust/Statue/Sculpture; 1960s Vintage; Bronze Color
This is a unique and seldom seen sort of item and is a vintage item from the 1960s. It was probably made in 1964 as a commemorative item shortly after President John F. Kennedy's passing. This metal bust (statue showing the head and upper chest of JFK) is a fine likeness of JFK in a bronze color. On the front of the bust towards the bottom it says: "John F. Kennedy 1917-1963" and on the back it says: "The Valley Trust Company of Palmyra, PA" and also says: "Palmyra, Pennsylvania" and says: "Banthrico, Inc." and "Chicago, U.S.A." The bust can double as a "piggy bank" or coin container as it has a folding metal piece on the bottom (it's in place) where coins could have been deposited. As it states, this item was made in the USA in Chicago.
