Check it out...Here's a VERY UNCOMMON souvenir item from Abraham Lincoln's Pike County & Pittsfield, Illinois where Lincoln rode the circuit as a young lawyer-It is a 4 1/2" wide by 3 3/4" tall by 3" deep black & white coffee cup / mug that pictures a silhouette of Abraham Lincoln and an outline of the county and reads: "Abe Lincoln's Pike County." on the front and pictures the "Pike County, Illinois. Courthouse, Erected 1894." on the back-The cup was issued for a program called the "Pike County Abe Lincoln's Talking Houses Tour for Pittsfield, Illinois." that was designed to be heard over an AM radio station in your car as you toured the Lincoln associated sites-How cool is that?
