A letter from President Richard Nixon to General William Acker, Commander of Lackland AFB, thanking the general for comments made about Nixon's book, The Real War. Nixon included his library bookplate which he also signed. The envelope used to mail the letter from Nixon's office in New York is included as well as the copy of the book with Nixon's bookplate and signature. The signatures are obviously not by auto pen.
