1989 George H.W. Bush Official Presidential Inaugural Medal Bronze, Box w/Papers
This is not a generic George Bush commemorative medal. Paperwork identifies it as the Official 1989 Presidential Inaugural Medal with original complete presentation set: * large bronze medal * wooden display stand * fitted blue velvet presentation box * blue outer lid * official inaugural medal booklet * original American Bicentennial Presidential Inaugural Committee insert. The portrait is a very handsome high-relief piece. The little “MG” beside Bush’s portrait is the artist’s mark. Excellent condition. Does not appear to have ever been out of the box.
