RARE! 1972 "FORE" NIXON Putting Markers (45) On Original Store Display Card ~ Excellent Condition, RARE! Nixon was targeting America's golfers for his re-election bid in 1972. This set of "Fore" Nixon putting ball markers (45) is "excellent", complete and still affixed to the store easel back display measuring 10" x 13". The display pictures a full color caricature of Nixon wearing a flag design outfit and holding a putter with a cheering gallery in the background. Illustration by E. Inberg. The markers are dime sized and made of bronze or brass. They depict a GOP elephant balancing a ball with a '72 inscribed on his trunk. SELLER NOTES: Excellent Vintage Condition - Very light edge wear on the cardboard display. Display bottom corners were lightly bumped and show limited creasing and wrinkles. Longer crease / wrinkle in the green section of the display just under "FORE", but again it's minimal (not a fold). Really nice! See photos and use zoom.
