Vintage Original 1957 Inauguration President Dwight D. Eisenhower Rare Collection of Papers & TicketsThere are 20 items in total. This collection came from a photographer at the event.Among the items are a Full Inauguration Ticket (unused), a Letter dated December 28, 1956 from the Inaugural Committee discussing the event, Inauguration ticket to the Photographer Stand, Reception of Governors Ticket, Inaugural Ball ticket (torn on right edge), Inaugural Concert invitation, a telegram from J. Mark Trice, a Ticket Application Blank (has a drawing on the reverse side), a couple of envelopes, an Inauguration Invitation, two photo prints - one of the President and one of the Vice President, Inaugural Ball 1957 Program, Inauguration Ceremonies Program, and a few other items. There is a Hotel Congressional paper with some writing in ink.One item is unrelated to the 1957 Inauguration, but is also included. It is a 1960 Republican Campaign Dinner ticket with speaker Nelson A. Rockefeller (unused).Papers are in vintage condition with discoloration, marks, creasing, turned corners, and other wear. The Inaugural Committee 1957 envelope has heavy wear with tearing, creasing and writing in ink. There is writing on the back of the telegram. There is a black smudge on the Inaugural Concert invitation.Please see photos for more information on condition and ask any questions you may have. This would be a nice addition to any collection.
