I hav known him for many years and have been distressed, indeed, that he has not been well. I had hoped that he might live and be comfortable for many years, but I feared the worst. He was a rare soul and is going to be missed by his many friends in the Lincoln field."-Letter was written to Philadelphia Pennsylvania Lincoln collector & church Pastor Rev. Edmund F.
