Check it out...Here's a unique 7 1/4" wide by 7 1/4" tall by 3/4" deep fine china souvenir plate dated 1929 from the first years of the Herbert Hoover birthplace in West Branch, Iowa (opened as a tourist site in 1928 after Hoover's election as President)-Plate features a floral / flower design & reads: "Souvenir of Herbert Hoover's Birthplace, West Branch, Iowa." on front & has a maker's logo of a crown with "C.P. Co. 8 29" on back-Colorful plate is in great condition with some paint rubbing on the metallic gold lettering consistent with age and normal use. Still a very uncommon Hoover item indeed!
