1924 - Calvin Coolidge Throws Out the First Pitch & Baseball First day Cover
This wonderful picture collage salutes the sport of Baseball and President Calvin Coolidge who threw out the first pitch to start off the 1924 Baseball season. The collage features a picture of Coolidge throwing out the first pitch. Highlighting the College is the First Day Cover of the stamp issued in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the song - "Take Me Out to the Old Ball Game".. When a stamp is issued, on the first day it is only available for purchase in the city where it is issued. The Post Office certifies this by canceling the envelope "First Day of Issue". This is a great collectible for any baseball buff. The size of this matted picture is 10" x 13" and will fit any 10" x 13" inch frame. (a standard size). Solid Oak frames are available for an additional $20 with no increase in shipping charges. (This option does not apply when shipping outside the US. Please inquire as to what options are available.) I make all these collages by hand. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage. I then design each picture individually and lay out the design on the mat. Finally, I cut each mat based on that design and assemble the collage. Shipping and Handling is free for the United States. I accept PayPal as payment which is due within seven days of purchase. I make a daily trip to the Post Office so your item will normally ship within 24 hours after payment is received. Regardless of how many items you purchase at one time, you will only be charged one shipping fee. All other items are shipped free.
