1923 Warren Harding Funeral Stereoview Card #3 Caisson Leaving WH for US Capitol
Here is a Keystone stereo view card showing the body of president Warren G. Harding on a horse-drawn caisson as it left the White House grounds to head to the U.S. Capitol where it was to lie in state before going to Marion, Ohio for burial. Harding had died in a San Francisco, California hotel on August 2, 1923. He had been on that extensive western trip, going across country and up into Alaska and back along the west coast, of which there is an entire set of stereo cards showing him doing lots of stuff and meeting all sorts of people. We're putting several of those on eBay, too. This is in nice shape but please enlarge our images to judge its condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. S & H on this is $5.00, first class with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential campaign (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We will be happy to combine S&H even though eBay says we don't. Just request a new invoice before paying.
