RARE 8" tall by 10" wide VINTAGE sepia-toned silver gelatin photo featuring a GREAT image of the stone pyramid marker at the former site of the log cabin home birthplace of President James Buchanan located in Cove Gap Pennsylvania back in the 1910s-Has the image of the pine tree lined walkway to the marker on front & the embossed photographer's stamp "Karns Studio Waynesboro, Pa." in the lower left corner and a lengthy caption in ink pen describing the scene on the back written by Photographer Chas. D. Karns of Wayneboro, Pa. written in ink on back as well-(See photos below for clarification)-Very cool item in great condition and ready to display! What a great vintage item!
