Over 110 year old, complete issue of JUDGE magazine from Sept. 1, 1908---an Election Year---with lots of Political Humor. Taft was to run against William Jennings Bryan that Fall, and these publications skewer Bryan in cartoons, etc. There is an Anti-Bryan cartoon on the cover being crushed by "the people"--labor, farmers,merchants and capitol. Inside is a full color, center spread cartoon--Anti-Bryan--depicting him as an Egyptian Pharaoh with striking pyramid builders. . Back cover has a COLOR comic strip --LITTLE JOHNNY AND THE TEDDY BEARS, art by JOHN BRAY--EARLY ANIMATOR.with an apple barrel theme. Inside has more satire, cartoons, etc. In very good to excellent overall condition. Complete with no clip outs. This was once bound, but carefully removed with spine intact. OLD, not a reprint!
