1885 Harper's Weekly Two-page Supplement of New President Grover Cleveland

USD 25.00 USD
SKU: ZjQPVv1m
Condition: Used

This supplement to the March 7, 1885 issue of Harper's Weekly magazine is 16" x 11 1/8", and opens up to 21.5" x 16" - just the right size for framing. Published after the inauguration to show the country what Grover Cleveland looked like, with some wonderful artwork we might add, these supplements were actually intended to be removed from the issue and proudly displayed on one's wall. That's back when the majority of our country, even though you're candidate may have lost, contained a population which would support the country's "Chief Magistrate," by putting their picture up. Quite unlike today when partisanship ruins our country, full of shallow cry-babies who can't accept reality. Until 24-hour TV news, we were all Americans together when elections were done and just see what it's like today. This is in nice condition but please enlarge our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We didn't scan the back of the William Kingsley page because we don't want to damage Grover in any way. S & H on this will be $7.00 sent well-protected first class with tracking rolled up in a tube. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we won't. Just request a revised invoice from us before paying.
