16 1972+ anti-Richard Nixon Watergate Scandal Buttons Humor Slogans in 2 Colors
Love him or hate him, Richard Nixon was a major player on this country's political stage from when he entered Congress in 1946 until he resigned the presidency in August of 1974. Problem was, many on the left simply loved to hate him. Tricky Dick actually did himself in over the Watergate mess while he ran for re-election in 1972 and the year-and-a-half after he was sworn in again. Here's a group of sixteen, anti-Nixon Watergate slogan pins which were quite popular in their day and are now treasured by political collectors. They were printed in black or blue ink, so you're getting eight of each. These are 1.25" and likely all made by the N.G. Slater Company of New York City because that appears on the majority of them along the curl. But several have "Watergate Series #" so on and so forth number printed on their curl, like "Even Agnew," Will Martha," "Staff Infection" and "Impeachment with Honor." These are in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. S & H on this will be $5.50 sent well packed with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we won't. We just issue a refund for any overpayment. 8861
