This is a blank-backed membership card, 4" x 6" from the 1940 Illinois election. Trying to run on president Franklin Roosevelt's coattails while he was seeking his third term, Harry B. Hershey was campaigning for governor and raising money by giving people who donated to his campaign this receipt card, likely torn out of a booklet since the left edge shows perforations.
