Just in time for the 11/22/2023 60th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination in Dallas, Texas in 1963, we are offering some interesting material for anyone who collects JFK memorabilia. This is a 6" cello button with a pin back and also a cardboard easel to be able and prop it up, from John F. Kennedy's Presidential Inauguration. It was made by the A.A. A. Novelty Company of Washington, D.C. (printed on the curl). The 1960 election had pitted democrats Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson against republicans Richard M. Nixon and Henry C. Lodge. When the results came in it was so close that it was basically a tie, with JFK at 49.72% to Nixon's 49.55%. Even with all the voting irregularities surrounding the totals across the country, Nixon decided not to challenge the election and conceded the following afternoon. Think how history could have been dramatically changed if Nixon had challenged and then prevailed. No Dallas tragedy, (exactly 60 years ago this month), and also no Watergate. This is in nice condition but please look at our images and judge condition for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase. There are some light condition issues as often found on larger pins and so it's priced accordingly. We aimed it at a light source to show a light scratch and there are a few small surface dings. S & H on this will be $5.50 carefully packed, first class with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential campaign material so buy with confidence. We will combine S&H even though eBay says we don't. We do so by issuing a refund for any overpayment. 8094
