"EISENHOWER & NIXON" PRESIDENTIAL PAPER LOT - 1953-1969. This lot includes (2) original paper items associated with the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower and/or Richard M. Nixon. (#1.) 1953 PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION PROGRAM - (c) 1953 Inaugural Committee. 8.5" x 11". 48 pages. This is an official inauguration program from the first term inaugural of Dwight David Eisenhower. January 20, 1953. Includes portraits, biographical sketches, list of congressional inaugural committee, program of inaugural events, inaugural parade schedule, stories about the Nixon and Eisenhower families etc. Metallic-like inks were used in the printing. A great visual reference packed with information. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Mild surface creasing with no tears or separations apparent. (#2.) 1969 PRESIDENTIAL CALENDAR BOOK - (c) 1968 Heather Enterprises, Inc. Edited by Thurston Moore. 12" x 9". 32 pages. This elaborate book celebrates the Presidency in calendar form (the Nixon-Agnew team in particular). It features historical events in each block of the 365 days. Featured are family photos of President Nixon and Vice President Spiro Agnew. The inside back cover include photos and a brief biography of Hubert H. Humphrey and Edmund S. Muskie. Another great reference packed with hard-to-find information. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface creasing with scattered small edge tears (largest tear being approx. 1/4"). No spine edge separation. YOU ARE BUYING BOTH FOR ONE MONEY.
