Here's a unique ORIGINAL 5 3/4" wide by 5" tall official cardboard invitation to the 50th anniversary ceremony of the "Chesterwood" home / studio of Daniel Chester French, sculptor of the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Statue in Washington DC, back in 1972-Card reads: "The National Trust for Historic Preservation requests the honor of your presence at the ceremony commemorating the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Dedication of the Memorial to Abraham Lincoln May 27, 1972, 2:30 P.M. promptly Chesterwood, Stockbridge, Massachusetts." and comes in the original mailing envelope-Set has only minor wear expected from age and normal use (See photos below for clarification)-A neat vintage set ready for display.
