1924 Coolidge Home Town Club of Plymouth, VT Club Charter Membership Card
Here's a 3" x 5" cardstock item from the 1924 campaign when sitting, republican president, Calvin Coolidge, who had taken over in August 1923 after president Harding died in office, chose Charles Dawes as his running mate. There were various Coolidge Clubs around the country and this one, based in his hometown in Vermont, was obviously the most famous - where his father still lived, the man who had sworn in the new president in the middle of the night. If you sent the club a buck as a donation, you got this as a receipt with your name filled out on it, but this one's unused. It is in nice shape but please enlarge our images and judge condition for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase.
