ORIGINAL 5" wide by 7" tall black & white newspaper / book / circular magazine halftone illustration of President Abraham Lincoln from the 1870-80s Era issued by a Boston, Massachusetts agency-The image features President Lincoln dispatching a young telegraph "runner" with a message to deliver somewhere in the city of Washington DC captioned: "Lincoln with dispatcher" on front-Marked "Rough Proofs. The Engraving Agency, Boston, Mass." with a 35 cent price and stock number 12617 inset on front- The agency sold these woodcut halftone image print block plates, that created images that were suitable for printing, to publishers all across the country back in the day-Never seen this before.Only light wear (See photos above for clarification) ORIGINAL, NOT A REPRODUCTION!.
