1945 Welcome President Harry Truman Poster Words of Advice from Dr. Herrstrom
Shortly after Vice-President Harry Truman assumed the presidency because of the death of Franklin Roosevelt in mid-April 1945, one Dr. Herrstrom had these 12" x 10 3/8" newsprint posters distributed to welcome him and offer him some advice. Like Harry needed any advice from this particular mug. It uses one of the first official photos of the new president. It is actually interesting reading and, even though there's some edge roughness on this, matted and framed it would look great on your wall. Perhaps it hasn't surfaced in your neck-of-the-woods and there isn't a lot of display material showing Truman this early into his presidency. It's in nice shape but please look at our images to judge its condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. S & H on it will be $9.50 carefully packed and rolled in a tube. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material and offer a money-back guarantee, so buy with confidence, and we'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay says we don't. We just issue a refund for any overpayment. 8866
