Original Hand-signed Signature Letter J. Edgar Hoover FBI Director August 21, 1967 to Ward Quaal. (Letter from the Estate of Ward Quaal: See Bio Below)  This letter was written on Official United States Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigation Stationary and regards a personal thank you for a television program tribute.     Ward Quaal Bio: Ward Quaal is recognized as one of the 20th Century's broadcasting legends.  Ward Quaal began working at WGN radio in Chicago in 1941.  As eventual President and General Manager of the WGN Continental Broadcasting Company, both WGN radio and WGN television became known for quality programming and dedicated involvement within the Chicago community.  Broadcasting and Cable Magazine named Ward Quaal as one of their top "100 Men of the Century" and he became one of the industry's "most influential and respected statesmen."  He was also very well respected within the Political Arena especially with the likes of Richard Nixon and his very close friends Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
