First published in New York by McSpedon & Baker, Printers, 1851 and illustrated with three engravings and a handsome frontispiece. Complete title of this important work reads "Report of the Committee of Arrangements of the Common Council of the City of New York, for the Funeral Obsequies in Memory of Gen. Zachary Taylor, Late President of the United States; with an Oration by David Graham, Esq." There are also a number of eulogies by prominent Americans & citizens of New York as well as member of the 1st regiment Of New York Volunteers. Rare book remains in excellent condition with the following noted: original covers shows minor chip, at bottom of spline. Some slight loosing of the first few pages from the spline.General Tayler was a hero of the War of 1812 as well as the Mexican American War & of course the 12th President of the United States.
