8-1976 Gerald Ford Re-election Pins w/Various VP Hopefuls Reagan Barry No Dole!
Going into the 1976 RNC in Kansas City, no one really knew whether Gerald Ford or Ronald Reagan would come out getting the nomination. But even more uncertain, was who might be the eventual nominee's running-mate. Here's a set of prescient, (in the fact that they did predict Ford might win the nomination battle), 1.5" cello buttons obviously done in advance by someone who had no doubt of the outcome. But, not so presciently as to the running-mate, these give eight different hopefuls for men who might get named to the ticket with Ford. Those included Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater, but you notice there isn't one for the guy who did get put on, Bob Dole. In Al Anderson's Auction 187 these brought $59, so our price seems reasonable by comparison. They are in nice condition but please enlarge our images to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases which we accomplish by a refund. Shipping on this will be $5.00 carefully packed with tracking. 6276
