Classic 5 3/4" wide by 11" tall tri-fold program from the Abraham Lincoln Tomb Ceremony in Springfield, Illinois on April 15, 1974 that has been 100% HAND-SIGNED / AUTOGRAPHED by author Dr. Wayne C. Temple on front-(See bio below)-The program pictures the tomb on front and has the details of the event and list of speakers kisted inside & it is signed by Doc in black ink on the front cover-Doc was one of the speakers that day and is listed as such on the back cover-The program itself is hard to find, let alone signed by the author! Good condition (See photos below for clarification)-A very nice item ready for display- Here's some info on Dr. Temple: Wayne Temple served during World War II as a junior officer on General Eisenhower's staff. Following the war he enrolled in college, and by 1956 he had a Ph.D. in history and was teaching at Lincoln Memorial University. In 1964 he moved to Springfield and began a long career at the Illinois State Archives. Since then he has earned the reputation as being one of the nation's most knowledgeable Lincoln scholars. 'Doc' Temple authored scores of speeches, short articles, and research notes about Abraham Lincoln, as well as a half-dozen important volumes, with particular focus on Lincoln's military, religious, surveying, and domestic life. This is a 100% AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL HAND-SIGNED item, NOT A REPRODUCTION or a pre-print! Postage information is listed at the bottom-$ 6.95 postage is required. Payment We accept Paypal payments.
