1938 & 1955 Abraham Lincoln's Springfield Illinois TWO guide booklet VINTAGE ---
Set of 2 (TWO!) different @ 4" wide by 6" tall multi-paged booklets, each with an image of Abraham Lincoln inset on front-One is from 1938 and the other is from 1955, both titled: "Lincoln's Springfield. A Guide Book of Brief History" compiled by Harry Pratt, famed Curator of the Lincoln Collection Illinois State Historical Library collection-William G. Stratton listed as Governor inside of the later version-Each booklet is full of great images, info & history of the Lincoln associated buildings in the city with lengthy text and lots of history inside-Set has very little wear for its age-I have added images of the pages from both versions but they are all similar in content and design-A great vintage 2 piece set ready for display! How many of these survived? $ 7.95 postage is required.
