Original glossy photograph of actor turned president Ronald Reagan and actress Jane Wyman during their wedding at the Wee Kirk of the Heather Chapel in Glendale, California on January 26, 1940. Contains a Warner Brothers stamp and typed description on the verso, measures 9.25 by 7.25 inches, and in very good condition with minor staining throughout, light creasing throughout, and a small 0.125 inch tear on the bottom border. ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF RONALD REAGAN AND HIS FIRST WIFE ACTRESS JANE WYMAN AT THEIR WEDDING IN 1940, THE FIRST DIVORCED PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY The 40th President of the United States was famously known as the first divorced president in American History. Reagan and Wyman had two daughters and one adopted son, but would later divorce in 1948. Reagan remarried actress and future First Lady Nancy Davis in 1952 and they would go on to have a daughter and son together. We were unable to locate photographs of Reagan at his first wedding making the present photo extremely rare and highly desirable.
