I am selling a vintage wood framed under glass 1866 George Washington colorized print on paper from an engraving by Gilbert Stuart. The print is based on an engraving made from a 1796 painting.The borders were done by W. Momberger. Frame: 18.5" x 14.5" x 1" Print: 17.5" x 13.75" Engraving: by John C. Buttre 12" x 9" The corners show Washington's greatest victories. Princeton, Trenton, Valley Forge and Yorktown (Cornwallis' surrender).The frame has multiple scratches that and flavor to the piece. The top center is Washington as president. The bottom center shows him as a plantation owner.Washington's Signature is under his picture and his name is printed below the signature
