The medal is a 27 mm miniature of the Official Inaugural medal, with a loop on the edge for wearing on a charm bracelet, made by the same company, Medallic Art Co. that made the large Official LBJ Inaugural medals. Only 1000 LBJ inaugural charms were struck, and they are very scarce today and seldom offered for sale. Struck in Bronze, 27 mm in diameter, and in near mint condition. The LBJ charm is listed in the Official Inaugural Medals book by H. Joseph Levine, and other Inauguration medal books. No collection of Inaugural medals will be considered complete without this official inaugural charm.
