These vintage Christmas cards from 1965 & 1966 features a very rare printed design with the President and First Lady of the United States, Lyndon B. and Lady Bird Johnson. These cards are a great addition to any collection of historical memorabilia, especially for those interested in politics and the presidency. The 1966 front depicts a tall American elm planted by President Wilson in 1913 at The White House and is much more rare than the 1965. The term in office for the Johnsons is from 1963-69, making this card a unique piece of American history. The card is perfect for anyone who appreciates collectibles and wants to add a piece of American heritage to their collection. The envelop dates January 1965 and is to a South Boston Business known as Felton and Sons inc. est. 1905 Rum distillery, the last New England distillery at the time and was closed down in 1982. Both cards are from the same estate. Today, The Distillery houses 150 artists, artisans, and craftspeople, including fine art and commercial photographers, painters, sculptors, drapers, and the occasional physical therapy studio. You will be very pleased with these smaller and more rare sized card, approximately 6.75” x 5” with envelope in your collection!! The 1966 is currently the only one available on eBay, or the internet for that matter in this size and design, at the time of this listing and is at the same price the last 1966 sold for alone ( so the 1965 is a bonus). The 1966 is not the larger print card with writing on the front which is more common. Both cards are not in perfect condition but are very good as seen in photos. In addition, the 1965 card includes the original envelope with a historic Boston business adding to the history of these very rare collectables. 30 day guaranteed returns, no questions asked.
