Each spoon commemorates a different President of the United States. At the top appears the President’s portrait. Directly below his portrait appear both the number of his presidency and his dates in office. Then, running down the handle of each spoon is the President’s full name in embossed in large letters. All of this is framed with fine detail scrollwork. In the bowl of each spoon is a scene from the most important event occurring during each President’s term in office. A chronicle of our progress, development, growth and crisis during the past 200 years. A wonderful example of spoons celebrating America’s 200th anniversary. Each spoon measures approximately 6” long and is 46 years old and therefore may show signs of use, scratches, etc. and/or need polishing/cleaning. Silver plate.
