Here you have a Great Bit of Vintage historical memorabilia! Please...SEE THE SCAN! This is PRESIDENT THEODORE ROOSEVELT featured inside of a complete 1904 issue of LITERARY DIGEST Magazine!!! This issue includes the article "PANAMA AND THE PRESIDENT". Nice 2–page article that looks at the political blow-back from the publicizing of a letter in which TR encouraged the revolt that led to the split of Panama from Columbia! This includes an editorial cartoon with TR and Panama. There are, of course, many other interesting features here… including a two-page piece on THE PROTESTANT EPISCOPAL CONVENTION IN BOSTON. It includes a photo of the bishops entering TRINITY CHURCH for the opening… Another article is a review of WAGNER’S PARSIFAL PERFORMED IN ENGLISH… as well there is HENRY JAMES PORTRAYAL OF THE AMERICAN TEMPERMENT and a look at his BIOGRAPHY of WILLIAM WETMORE STORY… This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in fine condition with typical vintage corner and edge wear. It's not mint, but fairly gently read and a tough find!!! A great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you!
