1901 William McKinley Presidential Inaugural Ball Program Original Pencil Rare
Rare original 1901 Presidential Inaugural Ball program from the second inauguration of President William McKinley, held March 4, 1901 in Washington, D.C. This elaborate program includes the Executive Committee, Floor and Promenade Committees, music program, complete Order of Dancing, and banquet menu. Especially desirable is the original white cord and miniature silver-colored pencil, which remain with the program. The ornate cover features an American flag, patriotic imagery, and “March Fourth 1901.” An outstanding piece of turn-of-the-century presidential and political ephemera from McKinley’s final inauguration, just six months before his assassination.
